Wendy Spinks
Keynote: The Fragmented
Workplace Through Japanese Eyes
Wendy Spinks is Professor of
Management Science at the Tokyo University of Science (RIKADAI). She has a Ph.D.
in Management (Human Resources) from The University of Sydney and is Chair of
the International Telework Academy as well as Advisor to the Japan Telework
Society. She has written extensively in the area of flexible work arrangements
and their impact on conventional management methods, and is currently involved
in research on telework, organisational behaviour and organisational commitment.
Michel Walrave
Keynote: Lowering thresholds &
maximising benefits: A framework for the implementation of telework
Prof. dr. Michel Walrave is
associate professor at the Department of Communication Studies of the University
of Antwerp and leads the Research Group Strategic Communication. His field of
expertise is situated in the area of societal implications of ICT. He has
conducted several national and European research projects on e-working,
e-government and e-privacy. He teaches societal implications of ICT,
governmental communication, marketing communications and e-marketing at the
University of Antwerp and as a guest lecturer in several other universities. He
is co-president of the Belgian Teleworking Association. Michel Walrave holds a
master’s degree in Communication Studies and in Information Science and a PhD in
social sciences.
